TUNG CHUEH

The art of wearing

For trying on, showroom presentation and short, light daily wear. Keep the nail and jewellery base dry; avoid water, oil, alcohol, perfume and strong impacts.

  1. Choose your size

Choose an existing or custom size. Place the piece lightly to check the curve and position; its edges should not press into the nail folds or skin.

  2. Clean the nail

Wash and dry your hands. Wipe the natural nail with an alcohol pad and allow it to evaporate fully before continuing. Keep the alcohol away from the jewellery.

  3. Clean the base

Gently wipe the contact surface underneath with a soft jewellery cloth. Keep pearls, shell, lacquer, enamel and feather details away from alcohol and cleaners. Both the nail and base must be dry.

  4. Apply the adhesive

Choose a suitably sized jelly adhesive tab. Place it in the centre of the nail and press outwards to remove trapped air.

  5. Position the piece

Peel off the top protective film, align the centre and curve, then gently lower the jewellery onto the nail.

  6. Press to secure

Press evenly for 30–60 seconds. For the first 10 minutes, avoid water, oil and heavy movement to help the adhesive settle.

Removal & reuse

Loosen gently from the side. Do not force, bend or prise up from the front. Roll away adhesive residue slowly with a fingertip or wooden stick; avoid metal tools. Wipe the base with a dry soft cloth, let it dry completely and store the piece separately. Use a fresh adhesive tab each time.
