TUNG CHUEH is an independent Chinese designer jewellery brand centred on fingertip jewellery.
Chinese classical art carries a lineage of thousands of years, yet the ruptures of the twentieth century left an aesthetic space still largely unfilled. Contemporary Chinese jewellery has too often been confined to symbolic quotation, without forming a mature design language rooted in its own culture and naturally legible within the global language of high jewellery.
TUNG CHUEH was born to answer that space. The brand emblem brings together the Western eagle — vision, freedom and resolve — with the Chinese dragon, a symbol of auspicious protection and plural harmony. Through this dual totem, Chinese classical aesthetics are given a living, enduring presence in the present.
From signature jewels for the hand to bespoke pieces made to be passed on, fingertip jewellery is our central design anchor, reconnecting classical beauty with contemporary gestures and daily rituals. At the fingertips, jewellery becomes something to wear, to collect, and to carry forward.

Beyond the fixed codes of rings and nail art, TUNG CHUEH opens a new dimension of adornment at the edge of the hand — a quiet enquiry into where jewellery may begin and where it may be worn.
Across the collection, precious metals form the structure. Stones are selected by hand and set after careful shaping, polishing and finishing. Mother-of-pearl, jade, natural lacquer and enamel bring depth of material, while selected feather elements reinterpret the visual language of traditional Chinese diancui in a contemporary way. Each piece is repeatedly adjusted at a minute scale to follow the natural curve of the nail.
Detachable, reusable and made to be collected, TUNG CHUEH fingertip jewellery offers an alternative to disposable nail decoration. The fingertip is no longer a blank space outside the realm of jewellery; it becomes a poetic site for light, gesture and material presence. We have always believed that following the current of brand aesthetics is the least sincere creative choice. Some of our more avant-garde pieces may feel briefly unfamiliar to viewers accustomed to traditional beauty. Yet as Chinese aesthetic jewellery design increasingly moves toward sameness, this sense of unfamiliarity is precisely what TUNG CHUEH chooses to preserve. We do not design for traffic, follow industry habits, narrow cultural expression into a fixed frame, or pursue experimentation detached from wearability. Instead, we calmly welcome every conversation opened by that unfamiliarity.
